Digital Zoo

Welcome to the Digital Zoo page on the Sunday Night Trivia Challenge website. I understand in this darn economy that we can’t all afford to get out to the local zoo, so hopefully the experience of scrolling through these photos of animals will bring you the excitement and world-expansion that you crave. We begin:

Oh that’s nice, a goat. Kind of off-center in the frame. Nice animal to start with, don’t always see a goat in your life unless you work specifically with them. But you don’t want to start off with one of the heavy hitter animals, you gotta work up to them.

Yeah, there we go, that’s what I’m talking about. A classic tiger — and there’s two of them. More bang for your buck that way (and you didn’t even pay to enter the digital zoo to begin with!)

NICE. Everyone loves a gorilla. This guy’s got some kind of grass he’s playing with, maybe about to eat? Do they eat grass? I don’t know. I read Congo by Michael Crichton last month, but that didn’t strike me as an accurate depiction of reality

Oh shoot, sorry. How’d Mike get in the digital zoo? What the hell. I’m sorry Mike, you weren’t supposed to be in this. If anything you’re supposed to be a patron

Oh look at how tall this fucker is! Oh my god. I fed one of these guys a piece of lettuce at the Oklahoma City zoo once, their tongues are blue! Or at least that one’s tongue was blue.

Yeah, sorry. A donkey’s kind of a disappointment at this point in the journey. A donkey’s like two steps down from a giraffe. But look how sad this fellow looks! And who the hell are you and I to disparage the humble donkey?

NICE, there you go, Koala Bear. I’ve heard these guys are vicious beasts in the right contexts, but this one looks nice.

You don’t really see a horse at the zoo that often. Not really a zoo animal, the horse, they’re like a utility animal. It might be inhumane to keep a horse in a zoo, even, but this is not a problem in the digital zoo.
